CISCO representative gives a lecture at Financial Economics Department
April 3, Mikhail Bukhteiev, a systems engineer at CISCO, gave a lecture at
#MGIMO-Odintsovo on the topic "Modern wireless technologies". The lecture was
attended by the students of the Financial Economics Department specializing in
analysis and modeling of social and economic processes and information
technologies in international business.
The expert told the students about the main trends in the development of mobile
(cellular) technologies, Wi-Fi and the Internet of things (IoT).
The students were particularly interested in the 5G technology and asked questions
about the prospects of its development.
The students noted after the lecture that they find presentations of practitioners
very interesting and motivating.
The administration of the Financial Economics Department and the #CISCO
representative expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
